Civilian and criminal identity management
Excellium specializes in every side of identity management; biometric recognition of persons to control access, identity card management, background checks, etc. Excellium’s experience in identity management makes his team specialists at every level, including with crime, directly with criminals or for background checks.
On the crime scene, Excellium has created a bertillonage station and its software UniDAC Pro to increase the police departments’ efficiency around the world. These stations allow the cops to rapidly and totally electronically create mugshots of the criminals at their first arrest, or to add information at subsequent arrests. The biometric data (picture and fingerprints) are all collected electronically.

The booking stations offered by Excellium can be linked directly to the RCMP’s servers (law enforcement in Canada) to increase the information transfer between police departments.
This system has also been adapted to the background checks. The civil version of UniDAC, UniDAC Standard, is used by the Commissionaires across Canada which offers a background check service with our systems.
This software is a turnkey solution useful for any background checks. UniDAC Standard is, among others, used by public administration for the background checks of their potential future employees. Excellium collaborates with commercial air transport organizations, national airport security organizations, security agencies, shipping companies, Secretariats for major events as well as national and international police forces.
